THE FRINGE TOUR
The Fringe Tour invites you to discover three distinct regions of Spain by crossing their borders — which, rather than dividing lines, become transitional zones (fringes) where geography, culture, history, and gastronomy converge.
Cycling along the roads that unite them, we’ll explore parts of Catalonia, Aragon, and Valencia.
This tour takes us to lesser-known lands, far from the crowds but full of treasures in the form of nature, history, and gastronomy.
We begin in Priorat, in the heart of Catalonia — a region renowned for its world-class wines and dramatic terraced vineyards that shape its unique landscape.
After exploring southern Catalonia, we head to Teruel, located deep in Aragón. This hidden gem enchants visitors with its stunning scenery, deep historical roots, delicious gastronomy, and charming villages.
Heading east, we cross into Castellón, a land of contrasts. This province in northern Valencia boasts a spectacular 120-kilometer coastline with beautiful beaches and spectacular coves along the Mediterranean Sea. Inland, the Maestrat (or Maestrazgo) stands out with its small, picturesque villages steeped in history, all set within a striking natural environment.
Join us as we embrace the journey, cycling through stunning terrains while uncovering the rich stories embedded in these captivating regions!
