We start the Sud de France Cycling Tour staying in the thermal town of Ax-les-Thermes, nestled in the Ax valley next to the Ariège River in the Midi-Pyrenees region.

From Ax, we can reach many legendary climbs featured in the Tour de France: Plateau de Beille, Pahlières, Ax-3-Domaines, Col de Puymorens, or Col de Chioula.

Discover quiet backroads and small villages with hilltop castles as we ride through the countryside and the Languedoc-Roussillon vineyards on our way to our next hotel in Carcassonne. Visit the pinnacle of medieval period at the fortress above the city. A UNESCO World Heritage Site.

On the way to the coast, we will pass beneath imposing Cathar castles, the awesome Gorges de Galamus, and charming town of Ceret, famous for its cherries and bohemian atmosphere.

Relax as we reach the Mediterranean in the unique artistic village of Collioure, with its pastel-colored houses and turquoise waters.

During the tour, you will enjoy typical French pastries, seasonal fruit, and delicious cuisine and wine in the evenings.
